On your first admission day for treatment in our facility, you will immediately feel the warmth and friendliness of our staff. You would need to arrange your admission beforehand, although mostly, we do accept new admissions placed within 24 hours from the actual booking.
Referrals can be accepted from the client themselves, friends, family, and health professionals. Our team is prepared to receive you upon arrival once you have confirmed your booking.
Once you arrive at our clinic the first step is to familiarise yourself with the clinical team as well as your surrounding which includes the layout of our facility. You'll be given a welcome pack that will give an explanation of everything you're required to know regarding your stay at the Sanctuary Lodge and a roster of the therapy sessions. Please contact us if you unable to travel to our clinic by yourself.
On the first 24 hours of your admission, we will prepare everything for your first meeting with your detox specialist.
What happens here is that a complete evaluation will be performed based on your medical and psychological medical care necessities. If needed, a complete detox procedure will be recommended. Our mental health experts will be in charge of administering and monitoring your detox under strict protocol.
Please don't forget to bring along any meds that you have possibly been taking and provide us the particulars of your doctor's health centre.
The psychiatrist is tasked with reviewing your treatment and pointing out any areas that would need special attention from a specialist expert. We will make sure that any suggestion or recommendation is factored into your treatment plan because it is of utmost importance to us that your treatment needs are fully met during your stay at the facility. We will ensure that you are getting the highest standard care at any time and your treatment plan will then be constantly evaluated by our clinical director, counsellors and clinical personnel.
As soon as your evaluation has been concluded our kind staff members will assist you to get comfortable. Our personnel is always available to talk to and encourage you since we know how stressful and scary this experience can be for many patients.
